Romantic jealousy seems to have a gender divide when it comes to cheating: Men usually ask more questions about the sexual aspects of a case when women learn more about emotional infidelity, a new study.
The study, published in the journal Personality and Individual Differences, used a phenomenon of modern times - the reality show "Cheaters" - to explore an age-old problem - the jealousy-fueled examination of infidelity.

"Compared to women, men are more distressed by sexual infidelity and women were more upset by emotional infidelity, relative to men," said study author Barry X. Kuhle, an assistant professor of psychology at University of Scranton in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
