The Broadway Com Corp 1243MA ($27.99 list) is a black, metal PC case with a Micro ATX main board as well as an Okia-500W power supply. The chassis comes with multiple SATA connections, three drive slots and several front-facing ports among other features.
Design and Features
This solid black case is outfitted in SECC steel, a lighter metal that manages heat better than average steel. The chassis comes with an optional neon blue light that shines through its front-facing, 120 millimeter fan exhaust. The case sports a hinged side panel to access its insides, and its front panel features switches for power and reset. Also found on the front panel are two USB ports and two audio jacks.
Users will find that the 1243MA packs one main power connection with 20 plus 4 pins, one ATX 12V P4 CPU connector, two 4-pin peripheral connectors, one 4-pin floppy connector and four SATA connections. The chassis also has room for one 5.25-inch optical drive and two 3.5-inch hard drives. Finally, the 1243MA has room for one 80 to 90 millimeter fan in its rear, one 80 millimeter fan in its side up top and one 80 to 120 millimeter fan in its side down below.

A 1U case will certainly require a specific power supply, but other sizes give more options. 2U and 3U cases have much more variety. A double-stacked 1U power supply can be used for redundancy or extra power, and possibly even an ATX power supply.

This is wrong for two reasons. First, there was never a 2.01 ATX12V specification. Second, the correct name is ATX 2.01 specification (and not ATX12V), which only specifies the physical dimensions of the power supply housing.
Bench power supply build from ATX power supply acceptable voltage
Hi,
I built a bench power supply from an ATX power supply and I am not sure if the voltage is correct.
I am getting 5.74 volts off of the 5 volt supply and 12.7 volts from the 12 volt supply. Is that too high to use or should I try to bring it down a little? When I built the supply I didn't have a 10 ohm power resistor so I used a 6 ohm 10 watt resistor.
Could this be the reason for the higher voltage?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
