Lucille Catherine Ayers Chenault, 88, of Bowling Green died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at Bowling Green Healthcare Center.

She loved people and was truly a servant of God. Born in Caroline County, she was a member of Bowling Green United Methodist Church, and had retired from Keller Industries in Milford and had worked part time at the Variety Store in Bowling Green.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Davis and her husband, Duane, of Sparta and Annette McDonald and her husband, Paul, of Bowling Green; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Chenault of Ruther Glen; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd H. Chenault; her son, Edwin Chenault; and her granddaughter Joni Z. Loving.

She is now our angel and has gone to her eternal home to be with all the saints before her.

The family will receive friends at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral will be held Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
