The poster that claims a double standard between men and women and the acceptance of tattoos needs to take a larger look at society. The enforcement of social mores on women’s appearance and behavior is more dominated by the women themselves than by the men. This has been historically true and still stands today. If your tattoos are not meeting general acceptance, it is likely coming more from the female community than the male. However, you must ditch your anti-male bias to see it. What a horrific mess the dropping off and picking up of the children and teens at Beardstown High School and middle school is each day, and it’s only been what, two days now. Can’t someone come up with a better way to pick up these children so the traffic on 15th Street isn’t bottlenecked and backed up all the way to 15th and Wall Street and the Route 125 and Boulevard Road each day? This is totally unacceptable. Also, the same traffic jam exists daily at Grand Avenue School. Some real thought went into making that nursing home a school for sure. And who designed that high school? The powers that be still have not figured out how to get this traffic jam stopped. It is a hindrance to all. The annual sidewalk contest and banquet will be held on a Thursday this year. The month has not been decided yet due to current conflicts in scheduling. One person will be selected to tour a local concrete company whose name has not been decided yet. Good Luck. I don’t see a problem with having residency relaxed to Morgan County for all city of Jacksonville employees. The city has told their employees that they must live in the city as a condition of employment, however, they have also lost employees to other police and fire departments because of this.

Some family and friends referred to Clarke as Amber's relatively new boyfriend but her sister Ashley adamently denies that claim saying he was only someone Amber was trying to help. "She wore her heart on her sleeve, she's like the rest of us," Ashley told KHOU. "I mean, if we've got dollars in our pocket and you need it, we'll give it to you.
