My husband bought me a bluetooth ear bud last Christmas.  It's hot pink...lol...and supposed to be one of the best ones out there.

Thanks honey!  It advertises "noise assassin" technology...which sounds frightening, but promises to cut down on noise and increase clarity.

There's just one problem.  I keep losing it. 

$172 is the price of the ticket police will be handing out to those drivers texting, talking, applying makeup, or even programming their GPS while

behind the wheel.  With the hands free/distracted driving legislation arriving in less than a week, many drivers are racing to local retailers to buy a bluetooth.

But how do you know which one is right for you?

I went to a couple of local stores to check out the options.  (Best Buy and Certified Radio)

There are SO many! Here are some tips to help you go "hands free" hassle free, if you are still shopping for bluetooth.

Ear bud Bluetooth  

They are everywhere.  There are many colors available, and they are getting smaller, and more clear all the time.

The talk time is 4 - 7 hours, depending on the model.  This is much less than the other bluetooth options on the market.

But this is the bluetooth for you if you are on the go, changing vehicles, and don't mind something in your ear.

Drawbacks I see?  Easy to lose perhaps, and have to recharge often.   Cost - $30 - $130

Visor Mount Bluetooth  

These are now winning the bluetooth popularity contest, outselling ear bud options at some stores. They are larger of course,

but very clear and have two to three times the talk time.  (10 - 36 hours) They clip right into the sun visor in your car,

and you just press the button to answer or end a call.  Some of models have a solar panel to keep them charged, which I think

is a great feature.  Some models allow you to listen to your calls through your car stereo.
