Iris McLaughlin

Mrs. McLaughlin was a graduate of the Fashion Institute and also received a bachelor of arts degree from Montclair State College in Italian. She had worked as a sales manager for Macy’s in New York City for 26 years before retiring in 1992. She then worked as a teacher’s aide at Cedar Mountain Primary School in Vernon Township and also tutored there for English as a second language. Mrs. McLaughlin was predeceased by her husband John McLaughlin (1990) and a brother, John Straddeck (2003), and is survived by her daughters Carol Hansen of Frankford Township, Susan Spina of Vernon Township, and her son Jeffrey McLaughlin of Harrington Park; by six grandchildren, 16 nieces and nephews and 15 grandnieces and grandnephews.
